Description
Is story time part of your daily routine, or you would like it to be? Great! While some children already have a love of reading and are a very attentive and engaged audience during story times, others may show less interest and benefit from additional supports to associate reading and stories with “good things” as well as be a more active and engaged participant.
Regardless of whether you have early, intermediate or advanced learners, or whether you have interested or disinterested learners, these story boards are a fit for you!
Storyboards can be used to locate matching pictures while reading, re-telling the story, sequencing events, used as bingo boards or even cut up for a variety of other play & literacy activity ideas. Be creative! The most important thing is meeting our learner’s where they are developmentally, scaffolding new skills, increasing engagement and having fun!
